Peg Perez, Co-Founder & Executive Director
Peg Perez was a producer for the Young & Rubicam Advertising Agency – receiving a Clio for her work on Hallmark Cards, Inc. Since leaving the advertising world she has been involved with non-profit chapters of the USTA. At Norwalk Grassroots Tennis she started as a volunteer in chairing their major fundraiser and was on their Board of Directors and then became their Program Director. Since moving to Florida she has been the Program Director for two USTA chapters in the Palm Beach Area and now is the Manager of a non-profit after-school program in Lake Park. She has been an avid tennis player and has been to Nationals twice with her USTA teams. She brings many years of working with at-risk youth through the USTA Foundation in both Connecticut and Florida.
Kathy Reinmund, Co-Founder & Program Director
Kathy is a retired teacher and school administrator for 25 years. She has her Master’s Degree in Education and Supervision from St. Peter’s College. She is a certified instructor in the USTA ACE curriculum for 10 & U Tennis. She has been an avid tennis player since the age of 8 and participated at USTA Nationals in Mobile, AL.
Luis Checa, Director of Tennis
Luis is a native of Ecuador and grew up playing tennis in New York City where he studied with Jim Gilchrist, Sandy Mayer, Ron Holmberg and Gordon Kent. He has been a Senior Staff Pro at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club in NYC since 2001. Luis was also the Assistant Director at the internationally acclaimed New England Tennis Camp for six years, before coming to DBYTF as the Director of Tennis

Our Board of Directors
John Sullivan, President
John became President in 2016. He co-founded Interfibe Corporation with his brother Chris Sullivan. John has worked on multiple nonprofit organizations. For seventeen years, he has volunteered at Malachi House in Cleveland, his responsibilities included Board Chairman, Interim Executive Director, and Benefit Chairman. He is currently a hospice volunteer, a tutor for children at the Boys and Girls Club of Delray Beach and an assistant tennis instructor for our program.
Scott Reinmund, Vice President
Scott has served on our board since its inception. He is a USPTA Tennis Professional and is currently Director of Tennis at the Ocean Club of Florida for the past 15 years. Prior to the Ocean Club, Scott served as the Tennis Director at the Madison Beach Club in Madison, CT and the Dunes Club in Narragansett, RI. Scott was on the Florida Southern College tennis team where he played number 1 singles and doubles his junior and senior years. He serves as a member of the Wilson Advisory Staff.
Diane Rose, Secretary
Diane graduated from Colgate University with a BA in Psychology and from Wharton, the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA in Marketing and Finance. She and husband, Jeff Rose, are parents to a family of four, three biological children and one adopted son from Haiti. Diane leads a Discipleship Bible study and is a member of a missional community at the Avenue Church. She participates in Blessings in a Backpack at the Village Academy. Diane also volunteers as an instructor in our classroom with the ACE curriculum.
Jackson Clark Parriott Jr., Treasurer
Clark comes to us via Baltimore, MD. He and his family have been visiting the Delray Beach area since 1991. Clark and his wife Ashley moved here permanently in April 2018. With a background in telecommunications, manufacturing sales, insurance and small business, Clark’s experience will complement our existing board members’. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and has an MBA from Loyola University in Baltimore. Clark is looking to help DBYTF grow and expand our programs. His hobbies are tennis, golf and going to comedy clubs. He has three children, Jack, Will and Sarah, all attending college in Florida. Habitat for Humanity, The Radio Reading Network of Maryland (school for the blind) and local neighborhood association boards were some of Clark’s philanthropic interests in Maryland. He is excited to be a new Floridian and joining our board.
Christoph Teves, Vice President & Director of Operations
Christoph joined DBYTF as a coach in April of 2017. Graduate from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. Christoph moved to Delray Beach from New York with his wife Kate at the end of 2015. Prior to moving to Delray, Christoph pursued graduate studies at the Institute for Culinary Education and worked for Shake Shack. He grew up playing the sport of tennis and has always believed tennis to be an excellent foundation for learning focus, self-reliance, and discipline. He can regularly be found playing tennis at the Gulf Stream Bath & Tennis Club, and of course, rooting for Roger Federer.
Ann Chaintreuil, Member
Ann is the founding partner of Chaintreuil | Jensen | Stark LLP in Rochester, NY and Boca Raton, FL. She has served as principal in charge of many of the firm’s most significant projects. Examples of her work have been published in Architecture, AIA Journal, and Rochester Business Magazine. She has served her local community as member of the Board of Directors of the Rochester Museum and Science Center, the Strasenburgh Planetarium, and The Cumming Nature Center, McQuaid Jesuit High School, St. Joseph’s Villa, and the Fairport Urban Renewal Agency.
Scott Hoar, Member
Dr. Scott Hoar is a chiropractic physician out of Boynton Beach, FL. He has operated his practice, Mobility 4 Life Chiropractic and Sports Medicine for 4 years. He has experience treating athletes from the NFL, MLB, UFC and NHL as well as directing several different NFL Combine Prep camps. Dr. Hoar comes to the Board after serving as a committee member for the SHUZZ Foundation out of West Palm Beach. He and his wife, Dr. Megan Jack, live in Boynton Beach, FL with their active and growing family.
Jackie Kaleel, Member
Jackie is an attorney at Kaleel & Associates in Delray Beach. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Accounting from the Ohio State University. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami and then continued on to obtain a Master’s of Law in Real Property from the University of Miami. Jackie was born and raised in Palm Beach County and grew up playing tennis. She played high school tennis and was on the club team at Ohio State. Jackie is involved with the Young Lawyer Section of the Florida Bar, and she is on the 2019-2020 Palm Beach County Bar Association Real Estate CLE Committee. Jackie supports her University of Miami alma mater by volunteering to help law students prepare for the Florida Bar. Jackie is on the Board of Directors of the Boynton Beach YMCA and is part of the Inspiration Breakfast Committee at the Y. Jackie participated in many tennis clinics, camps, and lessons growing up. She has tennis to thank for forming a strong foundation in mental toughness, physical fitness, and fun! She is excited to work with Delray Beach Youth Tennis Foundation to help provide the same experience and impact as the sport did for her.
Patrick Donovan, Member
Patrick was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia and went on to earn his MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University. After spending nearly eight years in London working in the investment banking industry, Patrick repatriated his family to Ocean Ridge, Florida in 2013. He is a partner in a local private equity firm and has launched multiple real estate and consumer product startups while serving as a Trustee at his children’s school.
Jeff Bingo, Member
Jeff attended the University of Alabama and Florida State on tennis scholarships and earned a degree in economics. Jeff is currently Director of Racquet Sports at the Delray Beach Tennis Center. As a junior tennis player, he maintained in the top 10 Florida State ranking and in the top 20 National ranking. Jeff’s passion has always been teaching and coaching beginning in 1988, he was Head Tennis Coach for Men’s and Women’s Tennis at Lynn University. Jeff’s also worked at the area’s top country clubs, including Boca West, and the Boca Hotel. He’s maintained his personal game and is currently ranked #2 in the USPTA Men’s 40 Singles and #2 USPTA in the Men’s 40 Doubles
Don Cleveland, Director of Tennis Emeritus
Don started playing tennis at age 13 with his father and brother. “Mom was a professional watcher!” Don became involved in USTA Florida after moving to Florida at age 27. Don’s entire family plays tennis and enjoys success in competition at state and national levels.
John was the president of USTA Florida in 2006-07 and his family was named the National Tennis Family of the Year in 2007. Don was inducted into Florida Tennis Hall Of Fame in 2010. Don got involved with Village Academy in Delray through his local church where his son, and doubles partner, is the pastor.
“Our program has introduced tennis to 3rd-grade students for the past 3 years. As a USPTA pro, my hope is that they will develop a love for the game and learn from our instruction the importance of hard work and respect for the sport and fellow players.”
